“We look forward to actively supporting the Emil Frey Racing Team in the future. Our goal is to build a long-term partnership with the Emil Frey Group, characterized by team spirit, passion and good cooperation. At Glasurit, we want to promote emerging talent in the refinish industry and to get them excited for cars and, above all, for paints and car bodies. Fast racing cars and our partnership with Emil Frey provide the optimal basis for this,” said Chris Jackman, Director Global Strategic Account Management BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings.

Emil Frey Racing and Glasurit® are starting into the racing season together. Two racing series and two new Ferraris are waiting: In the 2023 season, the team will compete in a total of thirteen races, five sprint races in the GT World Challenge Europe and eight DTM race weekends. The race at Brands Hatch (UK) on May 13 and 14, 2023, will mark the start.
“We are starting fully motivated into the new season which holds many innovations for us in store. On the one hand, a change of manufacturer to Ferrari including the 296 GT3 as a completely new racing car, and on the other hand, we venture into the extremely competitive and popular DTM racing series for the first time. The first test drives were very promising and the Ferrari has a lot of potential. The motorsports business sometimes changes quickly, so I’m all the more pleased that with Glasurit we have a strong partner at our side. From this partnership I hope for a long-term cooperation characterized by mutual respect and going far beyond motorsports," said Lorenz Frey-Hilti, Team Principal at Emil Frey Racing.
