Pink October with Glasurit

How often do you see a pink car driving around? Not that much, right?

The month of October is considered the international Breast Cancer Awareness Month under the theme "Give Hope."

In respect of this occasion, Glasurit Middle East along with Al Haddad Motors (authorized general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Kingdom of Bahrain) and Al Haddad Commercial (official distributor of Glasurit in the Kingdom of Bahrain), shows its support by painting a Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 with bright pink special paint, the official colour for breast cancer awareness campaign.

The bright pink used by Al Haddad Motors was painted with the premium Glasurit 90 Line waterborne refinish paint system.

"By supporting this initiative along with our partner in Bahrain, we hope that this small gesture will promote awareness, show support to those fighting breast cancer, and encourage prevention within our community," says Phil Mcgough, Glasurit Business Development Manager Middle East.

This eye-catching pink Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 will cruise through Bahrain's streets to show our support and solidarity throughout the community. Our goal is to create awareness among people about the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.

Al Haddad Motors has also collaborated with a few other establishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the Royal Hospital for Women and Children, Talabat, and the Avenues Mall Bahrain. The pink GLA was first displayed at the Avenues Mall and then driven by Talabat to carry out deliveries to increase visibility. Talabat’ s female customers received a complimentary screening at the Royal Hospital for Women and Children.

“Breast cancer is a disease that affects several of lives. We have taken this initiative to raise awareness on the effects of breast cancer and promote preventive measures such as early screenings and self-examinations.”, says Ian Beattie, Customer Services Manager, Al Haddad Motors.
