 Started in 1981 by Steven's father in Opwijk, Carrosserie Vermoesen grew from a small-scale business to a flourishing enterprise.  

Steven, who inherited his passion for the industry, joined his father and together they expanded the company.  

"I wanted to expand our customer base to the entire market. That means more private individuals, but also all major insurance companies, leasing companies, and some prominent fleet owners. You don't accomplish that just by advertising. Quality, being able to offer a complete service, and networking are equally important."  

Steven emphasizes that Glasurit has played an important role in establishing contacts with new customers in the leasing and insurance industry. "Moreover, we were able to grow alongside the new techniques and products that were introduced. Thanks to training and technical and practical support, we were guided smoothly and were able to quickly jump on board. Over the years, and especially since 2018, the products have evolved tremendously. There have been coatings with better coverage on the market, requiring less product."

With the support of their committed team of 16 employees, they moved to their current location in Asse in 1990 and even added a second building. The company's commitment to sustainability is evident with the installation of solar panels on both buildings. Glasurit has played a pivotal role in Carrosserie Vermoesen's growth. By expanding their customer base to include individuals, insurance companies, leasing companies, and fleet owners, they have thrived in the market. Glasurit's training, technical support, and innovative products have allowed Carrosserie Vermoesen to stay up-to-date with new techniques and reduce time, product usage, and energy consumption. The partnership between Carrosserie Vermoesen and Glasurit showcases their shared commitment to sustainability. Glasurit's Eco Balance product line, known for its eco-friendly production process, has been introduced to the public at Carrosserie Vermoesen's Asse location. Glasurit's basecoat line, Line 100, is the only one in the market with VOC levels below 250 grams/liter.
