12/07/2024
Automechanika is held in Frankfurt, Germany every two years and attracts industry professionals from over 175 countries. This year, BASF’s Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions will welcome customers and visitors to experience its #EcoEffectiveness products and complete sustainable portfolio. On September 11th, Glasurit will host an in-booth event to showcase two new unique products that will help bring sustainability in refinish body shops to a new level, focusing on reducing CO2 and conserving resources.
"With our unique portfolio, we aim to combine environmental and business benefits into one for our customers, bringing together the best of both worlds. We broke new ground with a new process in the chemical industry for using renewable raw materials and recycling feedstock. At Automechanika, we’re ready and will be showing the most exclusive and exciting innovations," said Roar Solberg, Vice President, Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Glasurit's 100 Line waterborne basecoat systems is among the company's many highlights at the fair. Leading the industry in process time, material consumption and environmental sustainability, BASF Coatings offers the first basecoat line on the automotive refinish market to have a VOC value of <250g/L, taking green to new heights.
Helping body shops to reduce their environmental impact and building a more sustainable business, Glasurit will also exhibit its fully digital color mixing process. The Automated mixing machine CR4/CR6, powered by Refinity®, offers the fastest simultaneous mixing in the industry. Our Body Shop BOOST consulting service allows visitors to learn more about the most comprehensive tool for assessing body shop performance. BASF Coatings will also host a series of digitalization workshops with Glasurit’s KnowHow training platform, and VR spray painting tools amongst other solutions led by experts.
