Glasurit® Announces Exclusive Paint Partnership with Audi Motorsport for F1 Debut in 2026

After years of meticulous preparation, Audi Revolut F1 Team has entered a new era in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, unveiling its partners and identity at a launch event in Berlin. Glasurit, premium refinish paint brand of BASF Coatings and a global leader in automotive refinish solutions, is proud to announce that it has become the exclusive and official paint supplier to Audi Revolut F1 Team for its historic debut in 2026. The exclusive Audi R26 coating is developed and painted with Glasurit’s 100 Line and meets the highest standards for eco-efficiency.

The color design of the R26 coating reflects Audi’s design philosophy: clear, technical, intelligent, and emotional.  In close collaboration with the team, Glasurit technical experts applied Glasurit 100 Line, the brand’s most advanced, ultra-lightweight, low-VOC waterborne basecoat system, engineered to deliver exceptional color accuracy and finish.

The Audi R26 racing car features a bespoke Titanium Grey, contrasted by exposed carbon surfaces and an exclusive Audi Lava Red color, both exclusively formulated and optimized through Glasurit’s color expertise. These finishes are protected by the latest Glasurit Ara Class Eco Balance Ccycled® certified clearcoat A-C-24 which uses raw materials from end-of-life tires to replace fossil feedstocks, contributing to a circular economy with up to 40% less CO₂ per kg of product.
