Duo Maestro Contest: Process & Winners

Selection and Training Process

The contest began with the invitation of 55 workshops from 14 cities across the country. 27 preparers and 31 painters registered and participated in three technical training sessions (two hybrid and one virtual), covering preparation processes, painting, and best practices in the use of both brands’ products.

Afterwards, participants took an online theoretical test. Based on the results, the top six duos (preparer and painter) were selected for the in-person final.

The Final

During the final day, technicians completed both practical and theoretical tests:
•    Preparers were evaluated on initial diagnosis, material selection, establishing procedures according to the type of damage, and process execution.
•    Painters were evaluated on application, touch-up, color adjustment, and theoretical knowledge.

The process was overseen by judges and mentors from 3M, Glasurit, and allied distributors.

The Duo Maestro Contest made it possible to identify and recognize outstanding technicians, as well as to promote ongoing training and the exchange of best practices within the sector.
