Training programs are conducted at our Head Office located at Wetherill Park NSW, by nationally accredited trainers who will educate the Bodyshop paint staff on all competencies relating to vehicle refinishing.

Modular Training Program
The modular training program offers a broad range of seminars matched to your staff’s individual training and knowledge levels. An on-site Skills Assessment program can be conducted by a Glasurit Field Technician to identify your staff members’ individual needs and their current levels of competency.
Our training program focuses on 3 key aspects:
1) We guarantee maximum attention to the trainee and their individual practical requirements.
2) We focus on workflow process and optimisation. The focus will cover colour matching and identification, sanding, body filling and priming through to paint application and polishing.
3) We put particular emphasis on process training and the effective management of time and materials. The subject of Process and Colour are offered at both introductory and advanced levels and are continually updated in terms of their relevance to practical requirements in our industry
The tailor made program is designed by first evaluating a painter technician’s competence level, which can be assessed via an on-site Skills Assessment program (developed by Glasurit) and conducted by a Glasurit field technician.The on-site assessment helps to identify areas of improvement and gives the Glasurit National Head Trainer a clear understanding of your painter technician’s individual needs. The delegate is then booked on a seminar that suits, ensuring maximum benefit is realised.
The RCC training is backed up by continual on-site assessment, further fine tuning the newly learnt skills of the painter technician.
All Seminars consist of a theoretical content which is then put into practice with hands-on training.
The National Head Trainer constantly monitors the progress of each training delegate measuring all KPI’s such as material consumption, application times and flash off times, and benchmarks the results against industry best practice to ensure efficiencies are at their optimum. Knowledge retention is also assessed by way of theoretical questionnaire. The Bodyshop will then receive a report outlining the results. The relevant Glasurit Technical Sale Representative will also receive a copy of the report for follow up training within the Bodyshop.
All training delegates receive a manual covering all competencies that have been addressed during the training in an easy to follow layout for referral at a later date.
Once a training delegate has successfully completed a training seminar he or she will receive a certificate with a unique certification number and dates of seminar completion.
