Application notes

The function of Blending Clear 100-MB 50 is to optimize the alignment of special-effect particles in blending areas.
When the basecoat is applied in the blending area, the effect particles of the overspray can align to only a limited extent.
In order to perform this function, Blending Clear 100-MB 50 is applied with one wet spraycoat followed by a finish coat on to the blending area.
The blend-in repair with 100 Line basecoat is performed directly afterward into the wet Blending Clear 100-MB 50.
The wet film enables optimal Laydown of the 100 Line overspray and the optimal alignment of the effect particles.
Blending Clear 100-MB 50 is never flashed-off until mat before the blend-in repair with 100 Line has been completed.
The Blending Clear 100-MB 50 is ready for use and does not have to be adjusted with a separate reducer. Just shake the material before use.
For blend in repairs which has to be performed with high temperature or low humidity, the Blending Clear 100-MB 50X can be used instead of 100-MB 50, as long as the X mixing clear and reducer is also used with the basecoat.
