Five VOC-compliant masterstrokes

Regardless of what requirements a clear has to meet – Glasurit is bound to have just the right VOC-compliant solution up its sleeve. We produced the first clear to meet the new VOC Directive five years before the environmental standard came into force in the trade. Meanwhile, there is now a range of five products from which workshops can select the right clear for a perfect finish. And they all have one thing in common: they are perfectly coordinated with other Glasurit products and systems and easily workable using standard conventional techniques.

A finish to satisfy even the most demanding customer: The most recent addition to our VOC-compliant product family is also its crowning glory: HS Multi-Clear 923-335 VOC. This new clearcoat stands out thanks to its excellent flow properties. Its high gloss and excellent body guarantee a finished paint result that meets even the most exacting demands, thanks to an exceptionally brilliant topcoat. HS Multi-Clear 923-335 is extremely workable using hardeners and blend-in reducers from the standard range and conventional spray guns.

High standard, easily workable: HS Universal-Clear 923-115 VOC is another new addition to the product line. It is extremely easy to apply and thereby opening up a broad range of applications and processes, thus making it THE multi-purpose standard clear. It offers the same great product features as tried-and-tested but not VOC-compliant MS Clear 923-155 and is easily applied in exactly the same way. Even first-time users working with VOC-compliant products can use it safely without any special training.

VOC compliant and thoroughly proven: Our third VOC-compliant clearcoat for standard application is HS Clear 923-35 VOC. It has been a leading VOC-compliant product for over five years now, thus making it a tried-and-tested clear that meets the new environmental standard. Comparable with HS Multi-Clear 923-255 in terms of finish, it offers a surface quality that easily holds its own with OEM paint finishes when it comes to gloss and brilliance.

Really time-saving: For workshops that need to get jobs done quickly whilst ensuring VOC compliance, HS Racing Clear 923-135 VOC is the right solution. Thanks to it‘s incredible drying performance, this clear is ideally suitable for rapid repair of minor damage and for spraying component parts. Even drying at room temperature is no problem for this speedy clear. 

Extremely scratch resistant: Glasurit’s product line even includes a VOC-compliant version for repairing new, highly scratch resistant OEM paintwork in the form of HS Clear 923-45 VOC. This high-quality clear ensures an excellent, high gloss finish. This scratch resistance is achieved thanks to a reflow effect which eliminates relatively minor scratches through the effect of heat, for example exposure to sunlight.
